Food intolerances can present themselves as diarrhea, constipation, abdominal bloating, nasal congestion, chronic sinus infections, joint pain, eczema, or headaches. Unlike allergic reactions, which are typically immediate reactions and caused by IgE antibodies, food intolerances are usually IgG reactions, a delayed type of hypersensitivity to foods.
