Insurance companies exert a lot of power over the way doctors practice medicine. Their reimbursement contracts generally incentivize shorter visits, instead of visits aimed at obtaining full medical histories and providing proper patient education.
Conventional physicians who average 5–15 minute visits have chosen a quantity strategy to keep their doors open and serving you.
We have chosen not to participate as in-network providers, because we value a quality strategy. We would like to treat you, not your insurance company.
This choice helps keep our patient’s health interests at the forefront of our medical decision making, instead of following your insurance companies’ rules.
