Frequently Asked Questions

First appointments are all about getting to know you and your health story. The appointment is usually 90 minutes long, where we’ll go over your medical concerns, complete a physical exam, and order any diagnostic labs and imaging necessary to uncover and treat the root causes to your condition.
Once care is established, follow up visits are usually 45 minutes long. We will go over any lab work that was previously ordered, record any changes and improvements made in-between visits, and adjust the treatment plan as necessary according to your progress.
We are considered out-of-network providers, but can provide you with the medical billing information required for reimbursement upon submission to your insurance company. You may also use your HSA/FSA for services and supplements as well.

Conventional physicians who average 5–15 minute visits have chosen a quantity strategy to keep their doors open and serving you.

We have chosen not to participate as in-network providers, because we value a quality strategy. We would like to treat you, not your insurance company.

This choice helps keep our patient’s health interests at the forefront of our medical decision making, instead of following your insurance companies’ rules.

The Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree program is a 4-year medical program. Naturopathic Doctors are trained in the art and sciences of both natural and convectional medicine. This holistic and integrative approach begins by removing any obstacles to cure and first implementing the foundations of health: nutrition, mind-body medicine, environmental medicine, physical manipulation, and botanical medicine, before utilizing higher intervention therapies such as pharmaceuticals and surgery.

Radiant Health Integrative Medicine physicians are trained in primary care specialties like family medicine and internal medicine, however, we recommend you should maintain a primary care physician for things like vaccinations and strep or flu testing, since we do not perform those procedures here.

Female patients should maintain an OBGYN for regular pap smears.

We can remind you to visit your PCP for other important age-related screenings, such as colonoscopies and mammograms.

If you have a medical emergency, we recommend that you visit urgent care or an ER.

The fastest way to get a hold of us is by calling or texting the clinic number at 509-584-5344. If you need to leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
